Anybody have experience installing Scape Armor on C6? I ordered the product and looking forward to installing it. Easy enough to do I’m sure. My bumper and area around the radiator supports is mostly decent but with my incline driveway it can be tough. Wondering if anybody can share their experience with this product

I know, right - it’s definitely nice and covers the entire bottom area. Www.scrapearmor.com. They are in partnership with GM, so that tells you about the quality and fitment. Should arrive Friday and I’m going to install this weekend.
So just some thoughts... looks like this things a solid inch (maybe more) thick... any scrape high enough to hit the bumper your going to do damage anyway, All your doing here is killing an inch of ground clearance. I guess I dont see too many scenarios where this is going to save the day. If you've hit that high youve already hit your radiator support more than likely. The only exception I can think is a curb.

Not bad for $350. Post up how the install goes. Looks like you might be gluing something based on the pictures?

the challenge is not curbs - easy enough to avoid those, but unexpected speed bumps and the angled driveways of friends and family we often visit (plus our own). I purchased rubber ramps to deal with the entry of our driveway and super careful everywhere else. I don’t anticipate many new scrapes, but if it happens, it will at least be on the scrape armor. The armor is just 2mm thicker than the factory screw heads in the under side of the bumper, so while clearance will be impacted, it won’t be much. I also ordered corvette fangs for the two radiator supports that will ensure less stress placed on those. The scrape armor and fangs combined is a 425 dollar investment, so worth it for the protection and keeping the under side looking tidy. Mine is a weekend driver, so it’s all about the appearances lol.

There is a silicone sealant which may partially act as an adhesive, but it is mostly to seal front lip where it meets the bumper to keep debris out. You do have to drill several holes to fasten the armor, but I’m ok with that.
