Default Headrest emblems

Where can I get these headrest emblems as an after merket addon?
Are these things any good in terms of staying put on once installed?

Great! These install with heat, it says.
Did you use the heat installation, and how well does the heat activated adhesive hold?

Yes, I used a hair dryer on HOT to heat up the adhesive on the back of the emblem....then stuck it to my seat. So far they have stayed in place and look great.

I found an Ebay vendor with these in stock and put in an order.
Interesting, so you heated the patch adhesive and then applied the patch to the leather?
Did you use Alcohol or something to strip the leather before applying the patch?

I purchased mine on eBay about 3 years ago. The key is to remove all oil or conditioner from the area. I used denatured alcohol on mine and my seats are cashmere. You are going to have to clean the area way more than you would expect. The way to test is use a piece of painters tape. It will either stick or start to curl. If it curls clean some more. I then attached the emblem and used a hair dryer to set the glue. I used a clean pair of gloves to keep my hand from burning. Mine are not coming off.

I just installed a new set of Cashmere leather seat covers a day ago. I put one coat of leather conditioner on the seats. So getting clean should be simple. I am asking installation questions as the patches may not come with instructions. If I understand, you activated the blue by heating the patch and then placed the patch on the seats?

No. I warmed the seat area with a hair dryer, not hot. Placed the emblems and then heated them up. I would rob from the center out. Make sure the ends are stuck really good.

When you buy set, get the proper glue, mind installed in 2020, and live in high humidity and heat living S Florida.

I got mine from eBay. I noticed there’s hardly anybody out there with them like this. I only found one seller and he doesn’t always have them.
I just cleaned my seat with an alcohol wipe and stuck them on. Haven’t had a problem with them yet. Instructions come with it. Basically, that’s all they tell you to do. Peel and stick. Easy Peazy.

They are available on Ebay. The listing did not mention anything about the adhesive method. I hope mine are peel and stick. Ordered a set today.

I will post photos when done.
I would prefer peel and stick. The listing for mine says iron on. Don't have good luck with iron on items. I never seem to get the adhesive heated enough to stick well.
