LED Back up Lights
The older I get the harder it is to see backing up! What is a good bright back up LED bulb, that I can just plug in the socket with no new wiring?

After I installed my new head unit with a back up camera and my tinted windows I couldn’t see a thing behind me on a dark night with no ambient light I ordered back up LED’s from Vette Lights. Installed them in a 1/2 hour and tested that night on a very dark road. I actually couldn’t imagine them working as well as they did. Still going strong after 2 years.
I ran my car up on two 2x10” to give me a little more wiggle room underneath and they went in quickly.

Definitely go with VetteLights, used them on my C5, will eventually use on my C6...

As long as you know the LED bulb type, you can buy them anywhere, like Amazon or Ebay. As soon as you buy from a "Corvette parts retailer" you get charged up to 50% or higher price. It's the Corvette Tax. This goes for any part for the Corvette. I hate being raped like that.

I just installed some amazon ibrightstar bulbs this morning. Much brighter than stock, but probably not as bright as the higher priced ones. Will see how they last. Guess I will be backing up everywhere i go to test the longevity.

I need to look into getting some for my car. Doing a comparison....
Vette Lights = 2600 Lumens $54.99 + S&H =$58.96
Amazon ones = 2400 Lumens $22.99 + SH =
RadioFlyer = xx Lumens $30.00 + S&H = $44.73. I don't know if the 3570 is supposed to represent the Lumens or not.
I would say we should support the vendors that advertise on the Corvette Forum....
