Hey guys - got my car back today from my interior guy.
Very pleased with the color, as well as the quality of the LS.com skins.
Weather was really bad going home so no pictures until tomorrow.
I will post one though with a question to the collective group.
For the console cover, I chose the C6 flag.
I may be wrong but I believe the embroiderer put the flag on the cover upside down.
The “point” is facing the hood while the flags face the rear end.
I questioned the installer and he was adamant that he placed the flag in the correct position.
I googled C6 console cover logo and found 4 examples of the flag facing forward and the point facing the rear.
Convinced me that I was right.
That is until I realized his flag placement is in line with the flag placement on the hood.
What do you guys think?

I agree with you, the flag should be the other way around so when you're sitting in the car, the flag is right side up.

I probably would have went with no flag on the center console cover, but I do agree it looks like its facing the wrong way. Unless you are laying on your hood looking in through the front windshield, it's going to be upside down from almost any other view point.

At long last love!
Seat project is done.
I have to say I got lucky!
The color is a near perfect match to the OEM red.
Installer said with the Florida heat the “looseness” of the skin will tighten up
Still not crazy about the flag orientation on the console cover.
It is in sync with hood flag but I still think it should be the other way around.

They look great, nice and tight! I think your guy is right about those minor spots, heat and time will even those out. The red with black stitching is a really nice touch. If I ever go back to C6 seats, this is hands down what I would choose.

Seats and console look great. I wouldn't sweat the logo facing forward too much. Everything still looks awesome. Where are the before pictures? We need before and after shots!

Before was the standard Ebony/Cobalt skin.
These are the only two I have.
Think the solid red looks much better.

Before pics don't look bad either. But the new seats and leather are over the top nice. I need to get this done with my car eventually. Will probably go the LeatherSeat.com route also. Thanks for sharing, I love the whole look of the car.

Thanks again Fred.
Definitely happy I went with LS.com!
Thinking now I’ll see if I can recoup some costs by selling the OEM skins.

Looks good Larry, I'm impressed with the seats and color match, also agree you need to redo the console logo or just delete it since the seats have nice embroidery. Looking good bro 👍. Thanks for keeping us updated .

Thanks Lee - couldn’t have asked for a better color match.
Matching the existing OEM red is what stopped me before.
Sometimes all it takes is a leap of faith!!
Still up in the air on the console cover.
It is in line with the way the flag is displayed on the hood.
That being said, on the cover it does look odd.

Seats look great. Emblem probably should be the other way on the console lid, but if it was my car I'd be perfectly fine with it either way

if it’s the colors you mean that’s OEM from the factory.

Think I’d have to agree…would redo the console lid without the logo. In that location, I’d have to say less is more. Your seats look amazing though. When I bought my silver/ebony ‘07, the dealer had a white/red ‘08 that was unbelievably nice but out of my range. Great color combination!

If you were to try to correct the logo issue, that would involve ordering a new leather cover from LeatherSeats.com? If so, I would be tempted to go with no logo and do a 2 tone cover where the top is black and the side pieces red with red stitching.

Still not thrilled with the way it looks but starting to get used to it.
