Used to be that, with the fob in my pocket, once I got close enough to the car the door would unlock and let me in. Not anymore. Now I have to pull the fob out and press the 'unlock' button. Is this a sign of a failing fob battery?
Also just noticed I only have one functioning low beam headlight. Quick search of the forum has revealed having to remove the wheel to do it. That bad boy is this: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...lVehicle=false, right?
You do not need to remove the wheel to get to the rear of the headlight housing. Just turn the steering wheel to one side or the other then remove the plastic pins that hold the cover in place. Don't replace just one headlight bulb do both.
Sweet. Thanks for that. My default assumption is that its the bulb as that's probably the case with 99% of the (non-HID) cars in the world, is that a safe position to take? Autozone wants $105 for one of those bad boyz and I'm assuming that's typical retail. Do we have a forum hookup lurking out there online someplace wherein we save a few shekels?

You can determine if it's the bulb by taking the known working bulb out of the other side and trying it on the side that's not working, if it works then it's the bulb, if it doesn't then it's probably the ballast. Just remember not to touch the glass part of the bulb with your fingers, the oils from your skin can dramatically shorten the life of the bulb. As far as any venders out there that can save you money, I don't know of any personally.
