I could be wrong but it looks like most people gain around 20 - 30 hp when they slap on long tubes with an intake and tune it. It won’t be a huge difference feel wise for those hp figures but you will be able to notice a bit of a difference for sure. Me personally though, I’m one of the few who would do headers purely for the sound as it provides a richer sound that you just can’t get with a Catback. I don’t mean pure volume, but it’s the tone and how full the sound is with the headers otherwise if I just wanted volume I would throw on Corsa Xtremes or Borla Ataks but at the same time, I don’t want an unbearably loud exhaust both volume and drone wise. This puts me between a rock and a hard place.

Corsa has a louder and higher pitch sound than the Borla’s not necessarily more beefy. Borla is much deeper and may remind you of a motor boat but not in a bad way. Corsa’s sound profile sounds like the c7’s, just a higher pitch and more exotic v8 sounding note. I do believe the Corsa has a noticeably louder idle than the Borla’s but it sounds more like a tractor when idling while the Borla’s sound like your traditional muscle cars with exhausts at idle. No right or wrong, just which sound profile you prefer but the Corsa is closer to the NPP than the Borla for sure so if you want that sound but a bit higher pitch and definitely louder with less drone, go with that.
