This seems to be a somewhat common problem but the symptoms my car is having seem unusual. I was out of state about a week ago when my cooling fan stopped working and the car overheated, not an issue as I had trailered there so I just loaded it up and went home.
Went through the connections at home and all seems good, tested the fan and it comes on fine.
Weird little fluke so I just didn’t worry about it and all was fine for about a week until today I was on my way home and it once again started overheating, can’t get the fan to come on.
You said "went trough the connections" did you take apart the electrical connection for the fan, separate it and look inside? There have been several threads about connection failures with melting due to high current load, see this thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...d-working.html good luck
