There's a '13 GS on BAT. I'm not interested in the car but a comment and the seller's answer brought up something I hadn't heard before. Comment noted a fluid leak in the pics and asked about it. The seller replied, that "it was seepage from the Delco oil filter and that this a common issue." News to me. Maybe not tightened enough or too much (the filter not the seller), but I'd listen to what the forum has to say about this, https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...vette-coupe-9/
Common maybe if you leave it too loose, put it on too tight, or inadvertently double gasket it. Personally never had a leaker. Had an old gasket stick on the car mounting surface exactly one time in almost 50 years of doing oil and filter changes.
I find the above, and the only leak that I can see is at the bell housing to back of motor weep channel on the A6 trans car, which could be the rear main seal leaking from sitting so long/not being driven enough instead.
As for car, even with only 5K, would still have someone do a PP&E on it, since easy to gleam a car up to look pretty via detail washing, but would have some major internal damage that you can not see in the photo's isntead. Also, still running the Good years on the car that came with it new (my guess), can not find a Cdot date on them, but will bank that they are 10 years old, so plan on $2K to replace them with new tires that are not hard as a rock and out of round isntead.
If it were something easy to fix like a leaking oil filter (which I have never had), the seller would have taken care of it before putting it up for sale. It is far better to say that there are no leaks rather than it has no leaks except.....

He could have tried cleaning it up and hiding the leak before he took the pictures. Because he didn't do that, I am guessing it took the seller by surprise to see there was oil leaking. I wouldn't be surprised if it is just leaking from the oil filter. When having my oil changed on various cars by others, I have encountered a few problems and a couple leaks. Oil filters not being tightened properly, the drain plug not being tightened, too much oil added, not enough oil, etc.
Happened to me once last year about 1500 miles (long trip) after I had the oil changed. I checked the filter and it was tightened properly. Took it back in and they replaced the filter and said they occasionally see that issue on corvettes. No issues since.
The commenters on BAT can be real a-h's. They do a good job of trying to beat up a car and keep the price down. Here's one comment where the guy is knocking the LS3 for the HB issue and trying to instill fear into potential bidders.
Nysteeler This author's likes: 0The LS3 motor has a known repair needed with failing OEM Harmonic Balancers. The job is entailed, and requires dropping the rack and pinion steering to get to the HB. The rubber seal that attached the pulley mount to the balanced weight crack and fail causing a chirping noise sounding like failing serpentine belts and shimmer at idle and low RPM acceleration. On average it’s a $1200 repair for an experienced Corvette mechanic. Has this been completed?

I believe it. Some shop guys don't want to waste their time lubricating the gasket, making it more likely that the gasket and filter is not seated properly which could lead to a leak. I've seen that happen also.

My thoughts as well. I've switched shops after a few issues with the old one. They put the wrong fluid in the rear-end and I questioned if they were actually doing some of the services I paid for on all 3 vehicles I own. Much happier with a smaller shop 3 blocks from my house.

More than likely the oil pan is just seepping a bit. Not unusual. I bought my car from the original owner at 3800 miles and I noticed that the oil pan looked like the pic above. I kept an eye on it wiped it off and it has never dropped any oil on the ground. Infact it has gotten better over the last 38k miles. If i ever need to have the harmonic balancer done i may have it changed at the same time. Much better to drive these cars!!
