Its actually got its own adhesive, found it on amazon. Goes on almost like a wrap. Shocked at how durable it seems for what it is.
Oh! That is a lot less messy than too. Thanks for the heads up!

So did you just cover the door card to the edge, or tuck it in somehow?

Interested in how it holds up, I could join the "wrapping parts craze.

So that panel will separate a little bit if you pull it back, I was able to get the edge tucked in... hoping that alone will be enough to hold it but still not 100% certain... it seems to be ok now but once it sets out on a hot summer day may tell a different story. If I were going to cover it with real material though I think id go the extra step and take the whole panel apart. I wasn't far from it where I was but it's a bit more work. Just wasn't trying to get that deep into it yet.

Update time, nothing too exciting yet other than the fact its blue again which is still a little weird to see. Had a little clear coat damage from a previous repair on the door that lifted so I spent a day or two feathering all that back out to make it smooth. On one hand I should be upset but its a nice teachable moment to show clients the risk of wrapping over previous damage... at least that's what I'm going to tell myself to sleep. The roll of wrap should be here next week and its go time. I've done a little more disassembly than I normally would but going to go the extra mile to make sure this ones as perfect as we an make it. The new color is pretty wild, excited to show it, far from what I originally envisioned but I think its going to be the right move.

Side note the wheel selection process still continues but I'm 99.9% sure I've made a decision. We'll see what happens. As soon as the wraps done I'll be pulling the calipers for Cerakote and rebuild... moving right along.

So the wrapping is underway. I was gonna wait to show the color but here goes. TeckWrap Phantom Green Metallic. It's kinda hard to see in the photos but this color does a hard flip to almost black under certain lighting. Very dynamic. Can't wait to get it out in the sunlight and see it but very happy with the results so far.

The new color looks great. I can tell from your picture of the side mirror.just how dark the green appears under certain lighting.

Couple more updated photos, pretty much just the rockers and the front clip to go. Moving along nicely. Should have the actual wrap licked in a few days then I have to cerakote a bunch of trim pieces, ceramic coat the wrap, and then start putting things back together. Hopefully should have it back down on the ground in another week or two.

Thanks guys! First drive will be a bit lol, I still need to rebuild brakes and suspension before thats gonna happen. But hopefully I can get it out in the sunlight in a few days to atleast check it out. Really pleased with it so far. The hard parts are coming though, the front bumper and fenders on these cars are a royal pain in the *** lol.

Few more update pics, All thats left is the hood and front bumper. Unfortunately in my pursuit of perfection I've burnt alot of excess material so I'm waiting on another roll to ship. Really pleased with everything so far though. The clarity of this wrap is probably one of the best I've seen.

Looking sweet so far! Which rear spoiler did you have on the car? My cars getting the roof and halo wrapped as we speak, just did the tail lights the other day and its begging for a spoiler. I like the way yours looks.

Currently have an extended zr1 style in carbon, We're not sure if its from C7 carbon or Veloz though since I got it second hand.

Congratulations on such a wicked car. Love the green when I first saw it on here and always check your build thread! I wish GM's new Emerald Lake Metallic was more the shade of your new wrap.

The emerald lake does shift to almost black under certain conditions , but that wrap looks awesome! Thanks for updating and keep up the stellar work .

Few more shots, got all the new weatherstripping installed last night, reinstalled the cowl panel. Still waiting on more material but as soon as the bumper and hood are done I'll ceramic coat everything and start getting it back together (so i can take it back apart in like a month to do suspension and brakes lol). Also debating doing a custom GS stripe with my company logo embossed in it... still playing with ideas there. I'm absolutely in love with this color so far which I'm glad because I was very unsure when I ordered it lol. I think it adds a touch of class to it.
