Default Coolant flush procedure

I’ve just got around to draining my coolant system and I found that the coolant is brown and the cap has sludge on it. I need to flush the system and I know GM has their own procedure to do so. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the procedure or inform me of the instructions to do so. I appreciate any and all help from anyone.

I see you are new to the forum. You should check out the "How-Tos" section on the forum. Tons of DIY maintenance found here. Link below:

Also pulled the attached flush procedure from the above that should help you with your cooling system problem

Super easy to flush out our cars coolant. Search through google or search my posts on the how to. Most difficult part was getting the coolant reservoir clean. I was just going to purchase a new one but they are expensive for what it is. I put nuts/bolts inside with dish soap to get most of it out as you can’t get a brush inside because of the chambers. I’m looking forward to swapping out my diff and tranny fluid this year.
