E Brake button removal
I've read several posts here that to replace the button (upgrading to a CF dipped version) slide the e brake leather boot down, remove screw holding handle in place, then pull fairly hard to remove handle with button. Question - Not sure if a later year C6 is different than early years with regards to the button, as I see that the button on my 2012 has a small opening that seems to be a "release" of some sort. Will yanking it break this? Is their a way to remove the button without pulling handle off? Any help is appreciated, thx.
