Yep, post 2... raise the ride height adjustor bolts - on the traverse springs.
With an '05, the originals may have their rubber deteriorated by now.
So buy 4 new ones.
How much height would you expect? My guess is: half an inch.
If you are concerned about the front plastic rubber air dams scraping, that would be another story.
P.S. A wheel alignment is recommended if you do this....searching this forum will answer many questions you may have about raising and lowering.
I had mine raised as high as it would go because I destroyed the first front splitter I had on it within two days. But the car still looks pretty darn low with the aero. I plan to put 19"/20" wheels at some point to fill that wheel gap a bit more.
I raised my, new to me, '09, 1" in the front by adjustint the oem bolts, and there was plenty of thread left.. It may have been previously lowered. The rubber on the bolt has definetly been compressed at a angle. So, I turned the bolt a full turn each time in order to get the angle the same as before I adjusted it.
I've read that installing new bolts is a pita because of clearance issues.
Removing the front wheels makes this job a lot easier.
