Hi all, 2008 C6 convertible. Have noticed the paint on the roof cover has an odd appearance to it, doesn’t look smooth but it is and still polishes up ok but still has this weird look under the paint. Seems to be spreading to the trunk lid too. Florida car, kept in a garage when not used. Anybody had anything similar, any suggestions on prevention or fix? Thanks.

Yea it is hard to tell. Have you tried using a clay bar and polishing to see if it goes away. May want to take it to someone who knows what they are doing and it paint corrected.
As others have said its hard to tell about the paint with the shadows .Paint correction using a foam pad with some 3D One or Meguiars 105 should clean it up . If it's really bad wet sanding with 2000/3000 grit then buffing should clean up the imperfections
