I have a 2013 C6 4LT Nite Race Blue with 39,000 miles and the paint started to deteriorate about a year ago which really bummed me out as I have always taken care of my Vett! I don't have room in my garage so it is always parked on the driveway. I was told that it was from UV rays from the sun. I went to quite a few paint shops and received quotes from $8,000 to $25,000. Now my Vette is only worth +/- $25,000 and I was not going to put that kind of money into my car. So it was a no brainer to me when I was quoted $3,200 for a full wrap by the Print Parlor in West Berlin, NJ. The color was matched perfectly to 3M's Midnight Blue. I am extremely Happy with the outcome. The only items not on my car yet are the new OEM 60th Anniversary front and rear emblems which are special order and will be the crowning touch.
My other issue, which I hope you guys can help me with, I don't know what it's called, is the tray?? that holds the windshield wipers need some attention because that are quite faded at 11 years old. Should I use paint if so what can you recommend. TYIA!
Sometimes called a cowl panel. I’d try any “back to black” product on it then if that doesn’t work, replace or rattle can it with good auto paint.
the wrap on the car looks good.
I bought a new one and replaced it in 1 hour. Cowl that is. It is not that expensive. Then put some 303 on it, that is uv protectant, I use it on tires, cowl, engine bay and all plastic trim including wheel wells and mud flaps.
How long does 3M wrap last when the car is parked outside year around?
3m 2080 has a lifespan cycle of 7 years, keeping it in direct sunlight will cut that timeline down a substantial amount. I believe the new high gloss line claims 8 years but time will tell. So far we've had really good luck with it though.

You are correct with the lifespan, however the hood and roof will not last that long. In NJ you should get the 7-8 years out of the sides. The hood will probably last about 3. Here in FL we are lucky to get 2 yrs. out of a hood and that is with the help of a good ceramic coat.
From the pics it looks like they did a great job on the wrap. Your car must have had no scratches or gouges before the wrap as the wrap really confirms to any imperfections. I would recommend getting it Ceramic Coated if you are leaving it outside. Vinyl tends to hold more contaminates than paint, it's softer, and harder to remove water spots and such.
For the black cowl tray (and any black plastic), this is hands down the best stuff I've ever used (I'm into car detailing and have tried a lot of products). It'll make it look brand new and will last a LONG time!
He has a YouTube channel called "Ammo NYC"...look up his videos and see how well it works. It has a strong cat pee smell at first, but that goes away.
