I'll offer this.... open door, e-brake on, two fobs - fob in car, seat belt, headlights on..... there may be others.
FWIW If this is a new problem, I'd start with a look at the e-brake mechanism under the leather boot.

Sorry, can’t be bothered to wend my way through the link above, but it happens to me if I use the fob to lock the door before it auto locks. I sometimes do that so the horn won’t chirp. If I just walk away, it does auto lock, the horn chirps, but the car won’t ding at me when I get in next time. I could never figure out what possible use that ‘feature’ is. Must be something to do with how the security system gets armed.
