Wheel lock question

So my car didn't come with the socket to get the lock off the wheel, of course I have the special lock not even sure who makes it?

Buy a new set of wheel locks, and just go down to Discount Tire and ask them to remove them for you. I've had them remove mine before when my key broke.

Harbor freight has a universal remover tool made by "Maddox" under $50. If ya want your own, Wheel locks are a great idea BUT, a good thief can steal the whole car faster than they can get the wheels off. When you lose the "key" or break it ( because the last shop but the lock on with an impact) the only one it usually stops from removing the tire/wheel assembly is the owner! but agree most "tire shops/repair shops" can get them off for you.

I lost my key. It didn't take long to find the correct size socket to tap onto the lock with a hammer, and then remove the lock. I didn't bother to buy a new set, I bought a new set of black Gorilla lug nuts to go with the OEM black wheels on my Centennial.

Where I volunteer at an automobile charity, they have a kit full of different wheel lock shapes. One often fits, but when not, we resort to something similar to THIS KIT.
