That is the exact thing I did after I bought my GS that had cheap aftermarket ones installed. My father in-law put a kit on his 2013 Z06 with the Carbon Fiber ones not very long ago. Those are hollow and are brittle as well and has one that is already broken.
This is the aftermarket ones that were on the car when I bought it. The plastic was thin, and brittle. You can see the inside is cheap looking. This is the OEM parts that look way better. These are really hard to find now. I was lucky to get a second pair to keep put away just in case I ever need to replace.
[QUOTE=CamarosRus;1608320965]Pics below of my FRP (Fiberglass Renforced Plastic) KAPALINI Skirts (from EBAY as shown above)
Notice I bought the GM/OEM Flares because I didnt like the crude Fiberglass look that was facing the tire
I wanted the Finished Factory Look........Dont know if the factory FLARES are still available $$$$$$$$
I used Large Head Plastic "Pop" Rivets to secure these......I never plan to remove them so I had no problem
drilling holes.....
Mine are painted with Carbon Flash Paint same as other C6 Corvette Parts
But I’m a little confused, I see your car is a base, but the car in the pic is a grand sport on the GS PIC THEY LOOK TUCKE IN IN FRONT AND MAYBE A FRONT FLAIR in front of the audio kit where on your car it appears to stick out from the front fender am I seeing this correctly? [/QUOTE
I see your car is a base in the front of the aerial kit seems to stick out couple of inches from the front fender. Where is a picture of the grand sport they appear to be tucked in and I missing something.]

Best of luck finding them. In 2021 when I bought the car I got new ones easily from GM parts direct. A year later I decided to buy extra OEM plastic parts just to have extras. By that time they were no longer in stock anywhere. Took almost a two years of watching for them on ebay, and in that time a new left side came up for sale there. I got lucky and someone here on the forum listed a new right side for sale.
Put EOS ABS side skirts on mine in 2017. 140 bucks. They were fine until I looked at them wrong and chunks would break off on several occasions. (maybe I hit something, but ease of damage not acceptable). They won't get "dinged"...they will break.
ABS....never again....too brittle. Same with the shitty front ABS splitter that didn't last long.
I went back with a pair of black primer FIBERGLASS skirts from eBay vendor NewPerformanceParts. 80 bucks. Nice (and repairable, if needed) and still looking good. These but in black primer finish
just curious, we’re they built thicker then the ABS PLASTIC FROM EOS?
So
these are the photos. I kinda half as$ trimmed the OES rear flaps. So I’m thinking of ordering a new set and actually taking my time to trim so it can fit perfect . But still nonetheless the StreetAero side skirts with EOS flaps look good to me
not crazy about the way they finish up in the front So the rear flaps are not wide enough to reach the end of the skirt, or did you trim them like that?
So far happy with EOS Side Skirts and Front Spliter, They enemies sent me a Flap when I screwed it up during install. Don’t ask, I was a dumb ***. Will definetly buy again unless there are better options but they are holding up well on these wagon trail roads in Massachusetts

yes I had to trim the EOS rear splash guards in order to fit , I mainly cut them from the lower section

Using those as a template for the bolt holes if it were me I'd just order some material and make my own to fit those cool skirts you have on there. Or make them out of cardboard as a template and have new material cut on a water jet. They would have to be just as wide where they meet up to look right imo.
I wish they were more tapered inward at the front. That and no rear flaps stops me from pulling the trigger Also not a fan of the exposed foam on the sides, I guess these are cut on a cnc band saw/router from a sheet of this material
Not sure if anyone has heard or tried these before but they are a 6MM aluminum material composite… it looks like sturdy (same style my s2000 had and that was a track car) any input from anyone on these
I funnily got a close up look at these. The Exposed foam between the two leading edges is a big turn off. I don’t like that it’s not tapered in front. Or that there is no rear mud flap. Basically it’s the material used to clad the outside of buildings and imo looks like a house shingle screwed to the car. I have seen better , similar shaped skirts with molded in wings and tapered in front and finished lip on my neighbor dodge charger. If I could find something like that at an affordable price ( I won’t spend a fortune bon this item with the streets of nyc here), I’d grab them. If theses even had a finished edge they would be better
