Does anybody know where to find the best OEM replacement starter. If you look on Amazon does a replacement starter for 100 and small change that they swear is a GM starter if you got a genuine GM parts they also have one but it’s triple the price now I know that there will Japanese starters with a nose to adapt to the LS three just like get hamburger started years ago with the Heights Rockstars for the small blocks but some I see a it’s a bitsy USA summer, Mitsubishi Korea, and some obviously IOEM replacement starter if you look on Amazon does it replacements daughter for 100 and small change that they swear is it GMC Daughter if you go to genuine GM parts they also have one but it’s triple the price no I know that there will Japanese store is what it knows to adapt to the LS three just like get hamburger started years ago with the hight work status with a small blocks but some I see emits a bit see USA some emits a bit see Korea and some obviously is just Chinese junk so where do I find a real deal?
ps I don’t trust Enida start as soon as vendors that advertise Corvette parts because obviously most of that stuff is Chinese junk and Wayover priced anyway for what you could pick up from other sources
Damn brother... That's the longest sentence I've ever seen in the the middle. Punctuation is kind of a thing. Kinda like... There is a difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.

Look at Powermaster starters...
Yeah. I gave up reading after a few words. My head hurt.
Just a data point... If you have LT headers and do not effectively shield the starter from the heat, you'll have heat soak slow restart issues like the Z guys. If you keep pushing it/forcing it to start when overheated, it will most likely hard fail.
They say the powermaster is much more robust but may have to make some minor mods to get it to clear some headers like 1.875 and 2.0" tubes.

I tried to clean up your post a little for others, but so very jacked up.... I did the best I could.
If you go ACDelco, which is GM's replacement parts division, I would guess it would be a crap-shoot on whether it is made in China or Mexico.
Genuine GM parts should be made in Michigan.
Personally, if you are worried about quality, you could take yours to a good local Alt / Starter Auto Electric rebuild shop and ask for quality internals and solenoid.
Lets back it up,since you can replace the solenoid on the starter ($24), if that is the only problem with the starter (cracked terminal from heat back from say headers, or just worn out contact ring or contact pads on it).
As for amazon, they do have the OEM starter, but just marked at AC Delco brand, if you need to replace the entire starter. The glitch, some times may have problems with the bendex of the starter being too long, and will not retract far enough back at rest, to clear the flywheel gears.
So, can play the New replacement game, but since it so easy to replace the solenoid on the cheap if its the only problem or in some cases just pull the starter motor to clean/regrease and replace the brushes that are only a few dollars as well, a lot better than going down the rabbit hole of new starter expense and possible bendex problems to begin with. Also, if you did not resolve the problem that caused the first one to fail (say header heat problems), then may be in the same boat again shortly once again

starter works fine, battery new, cables good the other ironing it craked and sounded weak but liked off had over 13-5 volt and rest of the day was fine. I have long tube on cr and never had an issue. I just want to have an OEM spare on hand in the event it starts to act up as the car gets used on a regular basis, even in fall and some winter days.
