Default Soler Throttle Body & Controller

Has anyone installed the Soler 95mm Throttle Body and their Throttle Controller in a C6 LS2???
How has it performed for you and are there any negative aspects?

Gale Banks has a lot to say about any of the throttle controllers that aren't Ba ks produo... And he makes a lot of good points. I'd check out his videos before considering buying one.

It seems that his videos and opinions are quite biased since he is selling his own brand of a throttle controller. I would prefer an un-biased comparison of the various different controllers.

Just my opinion; don't bother with the throttle body unless you need one or have a max effort build. You will notice very little, if any, difference. If you are like most people who have a throttle enhancer you will love it.

The Throttle Body (TB) and Throttle Controller (TC) serve the same purpose of improving the response time of your vehicle, but they work differently. The TB adds real air and power at every throttle position from idle to Wide Open Throttle (WOT), which can be most noticeable during daily driving at low or partial throttle levels up to WOT. By changing the geometry of the part, a smoother curve and power delivery that is crisp and predictable can be achieved, which helps eliminate hesitation, lag, and stumbling.

On the other hand, the TC doesn't add any power or air, but instead, it changes the electronic component to allow you to fine-tune how fast the throttle will respond (TB blade opening %). However, the TC still has to follow the OEM TBs or whichever throttle body you have, meaning that if you have the stock TB, the physical problem or aspect still remains the same, although you get through that curve much faster. There will still be a delay or hesitation at some points during daily driving or trying to pass a car, to the OEM's extent.

Both the TB and TC work great independently, but when paired together, they complement each other for maximum benefit and potential. In short, the OEM throttle body is only one part of the entire problem, and it is recommended that you try both the TB and TC to see the best results. If you are not satisfied, you can return both units or one of them for a full refund. You have nothing to lose.
