Hood Seals
Hi all, thanks in advance for helping this non-car person. Hubby isn't super internet active so I decided to come here since you guys helped me out in the past. Hubby recently had a full paint job done on his 2006 C6 Corvette and in doing so of course all the seals and such that were stuck to the old paint job had to be removed and could not be salvaged. We have been able to figure out almost everything we need and obtain it but I am struggling with the side hood seals. These are parts 15881441 and 15881442. They go between the hood and I guess you would call it the front bumper part of the hood (sorry again not my baby here.) At first I balked about buying the actual OEM parts for these because they were around $60 each for stupid pieces of what appeared to be weather seal. Well we picked up a couple things from Lowe's that did not work and now I am back to sucking up to buying the ones online that are the actual correct seals but I can only find the one for the Driver's Side, the one for the passenger side seems to not be available anywhere. So...are these interchangeable? As in could I buy two of the ones for the Driver's side and turn it around? Or does anyone have any suggestions on what we could buy/use? Thanks in advance!

I redo them every time I wrap the car with this stuff, do it on customer cars too. Works like a charm:
