Went to use my CD player for the first time. The previous owner left a CD in the unit and it started to play when I turned on the head unit and selected "CD". I ejected the disc and put mine in, and I keep getting the "No disc loaded" on the screen. Any ideas?
Try another CD, or if you can burn a disc, then over burn one and see if it solves the problems.
Short of that, then may need to pull the Player apart, to clean not only the top of len, but get into the lens to clean the bottom section lens as well.
Since the disc the previous owner left in the player worked, the first thing to try is to put that disc back in and see if it still works. If it does, as Dano suggested, try another disc. Maybe the one you tried isn’t compatible with vette player.
Sorry but I don't know what unit came in originally in a C6 so this is just a thought. Does it have provisions for a thumb drive source? If so and you have provisions for it, burn the cd to a thumb drive and enjoy the music.
Did the same thing about a month ago.... Decided to try a disc in the player. It skipped audio and now it will not recognize the cd. Tried the disc cleaner and it will not recognize it. Then tried compressed air and it still will not recognize the cd.
Just left the cleaner disc in there and hope for the best. Not wanting to take the radio back out and dismantle it.

This is what I was thinking about....the player not recognizing the cleaner disk
