New Shoes
Finally broke down and bought new tires for the Vette, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S4 ZP run flats. I actually didn't break down, I was forced into it...my favorite tire shop, the ONLY shop I'd let touch my C6 (or any other car) is closing up, forced into closure by a greedy local Village due to "environmental issues". Surprisingly the last set of the same tires I bought back in June 2012 (26K miles on them) plus 4 new TPM's cost $1484 back then, mounted, balanced and installed. The new tires, almost 13 years later plus 4 new TPM's only cost $1502, $18 more. Great tires, they still have plenty of tread left but...well, for whatever reason it's time. Getting them on Wednesday...
