Does the Quick jack have enough clearance to install headers?

it can be done. People do them on jackstands. It won’t be the easiest job you have done though.

If you can fit under the car then yes. I’d suggest feeding the headers in from the top though and if you have a friend to guide them in from the bottom it should be easy.

Take your time. If it’s just the headers it shouldn’t be too bad. If you’re doing the whole exhaust it can get a little frustrating to get everything to line up how you like. Take out the spark plugs before you remove/install the new headers too. Don’t wanna snap one off inside the block.

You want to get as much height as possible. 24" inches or more.

And I don't think you will be able to install the headers from the top, just not enough clearance.

Definitely remove the spark plugs.

Can also help to remove the engine mount nut on the bottom of the side you are installing and then very carefully use a piece of wood on the oil pan to jack up a little bit. It will pivot the engine on the opposite engine mount and give you more clearance. Then for the other side, re-install the mount nut on the side you just installed and remove the other one. Repeat.

Yoy can definitely install from the top. There’s a bunch of videos on YouTube showing it and I also know from personal experience. Atleast with the speed engineering longtubes I know you can. Not sure about other manufacturers

If its not too late... Make sure you do them in the correct "order"

I did my SE LT headers and Xpipe i went Front - back and could not cinch up the connection to the "over axel" pipe to fit. Go back to front, Bolting the header on last might be a little awkward but it was the only way to do it. I also have a little rubbing now on those over axel pipes to the frame. Make sure you slam those connection together before you clamp everything down.

Yes. I installed Kooks 1/7/8” long tubes on my 2010 base model in my garage over the winter with my set of QuickJack 5000.

To note, spark plugs and oil dipstick were removed and new headers were feed up from underneath the car into position.

Wish I had my quickjack when I did my headers originally. But it can be done on jack stands with a little finess.
