Hello all I am the the proud new owner of a 2007 3Lt 6spd in yellow. Just under 8,000 miles on the clock. I am moving from a 92 C4 to this. Thus far it is a very nice car. I got an inspection sticker today so I am fully legal
I owned two Corvettes simulaneously for exactly one day. The day I drove home from Bowling Green with my new Yellow 07 was the same day my 92 was picked up by its new owner.
Not attacking, but most people brag about how many miles they have not the other way around.
Only if its an investment for the future when its time to retire and sell because it will go for top dollar. I can understand that.
Bragging about how little miles your new-to-you Corvette has, is a lot different than bragging about how many miles you put on your Corvette. Picking up a low mileage sports car is definitely brag worthy.
I plan to keep it as nice as possible and unmolested, but this will definitely be driven. The vehicle previously lived in a heated airplane hanger. I think I am going to change the clutch assist spring, not a big fan of the stock one.

Agree. I just wanted to beat it to the punch how many will comment how low miles they have on their car. What i don't get is everybody loves their car but it sit in the garage. Thats all im getting at, i see it all the time on here. To each is own.Thats why i think its more of investment and maybe bragging right that you have a vet. Everytime i mention i have a vet to people when ever the topic comes their eye get wide and start asking ??? Its a weird phenomena, many people think it's such a exotic car. Anyway ill leave the thread and shut up.
Congrats on the new ride, she's gorgeous!
Don't be afraid to keep the '92. Some people get a bunch of tattoos, I prefer Vettes!!!
I really would like to keep the 92 as it is in pretty nice shape. I would love to literally take it apart and replace all the soft stuff, suspension bushings, gaskets, all the stuff time takes its toll on, I just don't have the free time to do it.

I'm one of those that has a garage queen, but I don't take offense to anyone calling me out on it. For me, I consider my Vette to be throttle therapy. Wish I had more time to drive it but life is what it is.
