For those who didn't notice Evette98 is NOT the original poster who was asking about the value of their Tech 2. They've just started responding as if they are. Be cautious...

She is my gf, it does belong to her. I just posted to see value of it.
To be honest assuming it is a real Vetronix Tech II the going price would be in line with a good modern-day scanner which is a better option. The above pictured Tech II appears to be a clone based on the blow case, the GM issued Tech II had a different style case. Just my opinion and that and $10 will get you a beer at the Trump Hotel in DC.
Post pictures of the inside area where the data card slides into the scanner.
FYI, I've got a TECH 2 clone without the plastic case shown in Bartsky's picture and I believe I paid between $300.00 and $400.00 (summer of 2025) for it new from China. My clone does NOT Read GM on the hand held module sticker, it only reads TECH II. Also, all of the clone indicators mentioned in the previously posted video are true to my clone. It works fine as I used it to troubleshoot and repair the magnetic shock system on my 2009.
Based only on my experience using my TECH II clone, I wouldn't be afraid to buy a clone for home use. I don't know how it would stand up to professional use.
