This shop SUCKS. Had an extended warranty and needed starter/electrical work done and read some reviews about Marvettes on here and off of Google and they seemed alright. They absolutely weren’t alright. Here’s a recap of my experiences and what I saw once I got home after picking up the car.
Broke 5 of the caps on my fuses in my fuse box, lost my windshield fluid reservoir cap, and simply JB welded my air intake when they broke the mounting plastic. Never said a word about it to me when I picked my car up. I’ll never be trusting them with my corvette again. Neglected to tell me the car threw a check engine light the day I was supposed to pick it up, drove all the way there for no reason. Asked them to send me the code that threw when CEL came on, never contacted me until it was ‘ready’ to be picked up, guess I’ll just have to trust their word (I think I’d trust a politician before trusting this shops word). Took a week to get any information about my car from them after I initially gave it to them for warranty work. The individual that was communicating with me for some reason thinks a PowerMaster 9509 XS isn’t a starter compatible with the C6 generation of corvettes. I don’t know who wrote their other reviews but it must’ve changed ownership or they hired new people because this experience has been terrible. If you live in the DFW area go literally anywhere else with your corvette needs. What pisses me off the most is that I could’ve done the work they did but my work schedule doesn’t have time for me to work on it so it would sit for quite awhile if I chose to do the work.
What an excellent repair… How do you even manage to do this unintentionally.
That work was done by the kid that usually cleans the oil buckets. The mechanics were all doing other work.
If you haven't already, get in touch with the shop owner. They need to take care of their carelessness. Fixing something with epoxy is not acceptable. You do have legal recourse that you can take.
Talk to the shop owner. Back in early 2025, I believe it was a Hispanic guy, forgot his name. I believe The Corvette Warehouse uses that shop for their repairs/maintenance.
Thanks for the recommendations, I’ll definitely be checking out 21st for any future shop work. Corvette Warehouse did recommend Marvettes to me. And update on the car, drove it a grand total of 15-20 miles before the CEL threw again, pretty sure they just cleared the code and sent me on my way. I’m looking into recourse, but if anyone has any tips for reaching out to a consumer protection agency, etc etc I’m all ears. I’m pretty pissed about the whole ordeal because I treat my cars better than anything else I own and it feels like they broke more than they fixed while it was with them. Based off of the Google reviews that I didn’t see the first time around it looks like it’s a massive waste of time to get in touch with scumbag owner Ricardo and their shop has been sketchy for awhile so I’m not even going to try to contact him. Wouldn’t want him or his employees to touch my car again anyways.

Seeking depreciated value for the shops negligence in the repairs you've listed is going to be an uphill battle at best.
The law holds them responsible to make you whole for their negligence. Replacement of broken parts. Any additional costs to repair what you paid them to do etc.
I would contact the "scumbag" owner. Legally that's your first recourse. I can't speak to things that are state specific for Texas. However, in general after you provably attempt contact with the owner, you can file in small claims court. It's very inexpensive. You should be able to find details on your county's website. You may be entitled to other damages such as time missed from work, etc.

I would contact Ricardo (owner) but speak to him in a calm, but firm, manner. No threats, no yelling. See what he says and what kind of compensation he offers. If you can't get anywhere with him, then take it to the next level with a lawsuit or claim.
Son had a 2025 camery in for hail damage. After they looked over car insurance agree on repair costs. After they got the check claimed it need more. insurance ask for itmes list they never got it. He never got that cat back. Owner skipped town...
Dont beleive me here is the story, Please becareful who you choose to do the work
