Re: HOT! Blue Devil/Red Devil Renderings (adamsocb)
These are not truck or SUV wheels these are very rare and expensive German crafted wheels apx $10k per set. If you see them in person as I have, it makes all other wheels look like cheap hubcaps in my opinion.
If you do a web search for Startech you will find numerous links to specialty cars they have built in Germany with these wheels such as Vipers and the new Crossfire to name a few. In all honesty I doubt if they really even exist for a Corvette but I would love to see a simlar designed wheel by GM for the car and this is why I used them.
I also understand not all out there favor this style of wheel but if BMW can offer three or 4 four style of wheels to order with thier cars, I dont see why GM shouldn't be doing the same to offer a little additional personalization to each Vette.
Thanks for the input.
Jim

Fair enough, just not my taste. When I see this type of wheels of Porsches, Vipers etc. I just don't get it. The larger than designed sizes tend to ruin the suspension dynamics and handling as well. I agree they look good on custom show cars, hot rods, and the like. I just don't care for them on high performance sports cars, where IMHO form should follow function.
