That is some great detailed info CJ. I have been thinking about this over the past couple of weeks... wondering if I should adjust my order (wheels), and if my dealer will actually be able to deliver my car to me in a reasonable timeframe (early SEP to mid OCT).

I wouldn't do anything in haste. If any of the options go on constraint I'm sure the forum supporting dealers will let us know and then you can change if need be.
One would think that they would at least have enough parts for the first few cars. If things like the wheels weren't available the mules probably wouldn't have them. They have been planning this for quite a while. The polished wheels on the C5 were a mid production upgrade. Look at the pie charts on the ordering guide.
