Outdated Styling?
Comparing it to the "cookie cutter" horizontal design on the C6, it looks fresher.
Why couldn't they have been more original with the styling, especially the front of the C6? They spend 8+ years coming up with a new body and it's dated before its release.

This is Ferrari's new F430:
"Outdated" or not, the C6 looks a lot better than the new Ferrari.
Are you kidding me? The Ferrari is MUCH better looking than the C6. I'm not trying to start a war over styling, but I can't believe anyone would prefer the C6 design over this Ferrari.

This car looks amazing. And the license plate is much better then any vette. I swear if it's not made by the general or it's "better" than your vette all you guys can do is **** on it. Lighten up. The corvette isn't the only cool car out there. There are alot of more expensive and better looking cars out there that are "cooler" than my car but I'm not not so narrow-minded that I can't acknowledge it.
Here is what i found about this Ferrari:
Engine is 4.3 liter with 490hp
Dry Weight is 2,976 lbs ....
So the Curb weight with Fluids is much heavier at least 200 pounds more....
Peformance:
0-60 = 3.95 sec
0-100= 9.20
0-150=21.4
1/4 mile=12.18@118 mph
Top speed 315 km or about 194 MPH!!!!
Price will increase 4% over the Modena 360
Ceramic brakes are optional....
Sound good but nothing to worry for the C6 Z06, it should outperform this car......

EDIT: Plus, look at those mirrors. WTF was Ferrari thinking?
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
You MUST be kidding - the Ferrari plate mount is recessed and fits the plate perfectly into the fascia design. The front end looks like it was designed to accept a license plate, and still retains its continuity. It's one of the most beautiful cars on the road, and it can still mount a front plate with a little grace. Unlike SOME cars I can think of, where the plate is "tacked on" like a cheap billboard.
Don't get me wrong - I love the C6, but I will never have to put a front plate on mine. I would much rather have seen a Modena split-grille design on C6 so that we didn't have all the bitching about the front plate.

They found that from an Italian website.......
Here is some of the Monza Info and i quote:
Car was presented to a select group of customers in Maranello on tuesday 20th july. Called the 430 Modena, it weighs in at 1350 kg dry and has 490 bhp (euro). It has an electronically controlled diff that the driver can adjust from the thingypit. The back is enzo - like and the front too (notably the lights). Power to weight ratio is equal to that of a CS.
CCM brakes are an option.
Price is 360 Modena + 4%
First deliveries in Europe April '05.
Spider and Challenge race car in about 1 yr
CS version not yet decided.
Look for new "stradale" version of the 575.
All above FACT - not supposition.
430 was presented by Luca di M, Todt, Schumacher, Barichello, and Badoer
Some times:
3.95 : 0-60MPH
9.20 : 0-100MPH
21.4 : 0-150MPH
12.18 @ 118MPH 1/4 Mile

One person's pleasure is another person's pain.....
It's silly to quibble over looks..... Both cars are aerodynamically designed and both "look good", but give it a rest..... And instead focus on those things about the C6 that are more objective and truly worth crowing about, technology, specs, price, etc.
Just a thought....

The vette is THE BEST car anywhere near its price tag in performance and looks but please don't compare it to a 360. It is in a league of it's own. The 360 and the F50 are IMO the best looking cars ever made.

It's silly to be "confused" that people would disagree on looks.
