well now that my car is finally going to be built... I wanted to find out from those of you who had NCM delivery how long after coming off the line did your car make it to the museum? I am trying to plan my schedule.

Mine was almost 4 years ago, but it came off the line Oct 10th, and I picked it up at the museum on Nov 3rd. I think I could have scheduled it a few day earlier, but I couldn't get off work.
I picked mine up(6.14.04) a full 4 weeks after it was built, cause that fit my schedule it was the end of the model year and i think the museum deliverys slowed down so they didn't push the date, although my selling dealer wanted me to pick it up sooner.
I viewed it on the webcams they had it in the museum just a day or two after coming off the line, so it was pretty cool to see it there
Suggest you talk to the folks at the NCM about this question. Things have been a little different this year - quality holds, etc. Some more recent deliveries at the NCM might help give you an idea, but I'd talk to the NCM.
