Default Greetings!

Hi everyone. I just placed my order for a machine silver MN6 w/ Z51 and 1SA. I've been lurking in this forum for about a month now and, after reading everyone's reviews, was convinced that the C6 is every bit as fun to own as it seemed in the magazine reviews.

I had an '03 M3 coupe for a year and really appreciated it for its performance qualities, but felt it was too refined and did not have a sporty enough personality for me. So I replaced it with an '04 S2000, which is a blast to drive and provides pure visceral excitement. But I soon started craving HP and torque. Then, when I saw that the new C6 switched to fixed HID headlamps, refined the interior, became a bit smaller, and offered the Z51 package, it became the obvious choice. My test drive was nothing short of amazing. I hope I can survive the wait.

Congratulations on your new car!! I went with the 1SA myself. I've seen the silver up close and personal. It is very nice. What interior?

Welcome to fun times in your new Corvette and remember to wave!!

Those of us with discerning taste agree that you chose the most elegant color for your car. Excellent choice of transmission and suspension too, I might add. I traded a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0/Sport for the C6 and I'm sure it's a move in the right direction.

Congratulations and welcome to the expectant C6 waiting room!

Congrats and welcome....Unfortunately time for you has officially slowed to approximately 1/5th normal. The Forum will help you treat this distortion of the space time continum that occurs after your order is placed until the delivery of your C6.

hey great choice! Silver is a very nice color for the car and I'm sure you will love it. The M3 is a nice car too, no doubt. The s2000 is a lot of fun, but being 6 ft 3 I cant really drive it well I tried though..
