Well said. I didn't get here until I was 44. I had a C5 and now a C6. My next door neighbor brought home a red C5 vert the first year they were produced. That was the beginning of the end for me. By 1999 I bought a coupe. I'm glad he bought that vert.
Just ordered mine last week...black 6 spd coupe. I'm 36 years old and have wanted a Corvette since I was in my late 20's. Selling my '01 M3 to get this baby. Just one man's opinion, but I can't see where this car would not appeal to ANY sports car fan....irrespective of one's age.
Just turned 61, this is my third corvette, also have 1 2000SS Camaro MN6 that is just as much fun...Looking forward to owning both and having a back seat when I go grocery shopping.

We're a lot alike. I just turned 34 and am living in Mountain View, and this is my first vette as well. How long have you been waiting for yours, or do you have it already? Also, where did you order from?
I'm 47 (and can still climb the ladder that was in my garage); I have a C6 on order. I bought my first vette, which was preowned when I was 29. I couldn't afford a new one at the time but loved Corvettes all the same.
All models have a special character about them and I personally like them all. At the same time, the corvette does keep getting better, if they didn't, sales might be a bit slow at this point. Think of what has happened over the past 51 yrs. It's still a Corvette but it really is not the same car. 51 years in the making and still getting better. To argue that year 52 will be dramatically better than yr 51 is a trivial and mute debate.
