Well, I was out enjoying the new mods and bam - Miami Dade Police ruins the fun. Oh, that guy hated me, kept threatening that he was going to arrest me and so on. In return I was real polite, guess it ticked him off even more.

I was barely going 15 over, didn't smoke the tires and the street was emty just a nice blip of the throttle and next thing you know - FUN OVER.

We need more friggin 1/4 mile tracks - I take responsibilty for the fact that I did something wrong but it sucks to have all that temptation underneath your right foot.

Sigh.... I feel for you man. I just got mine tonight, and I can already tell I'm gonna have a hard time keeping my foot out of it. Sucks he wasn't nice either. I like to think he was out of the norm. At least I hope he is. Is traffic skool an option there?

You need to bring it up to the Atlanta freeways. We fondly refer to them as the Atlanta speedways. On any given day, or night for that matter the average speed is 80mph. They are a bit crazy when they make lane changes, the secret is to go faster than them. Hubby got a ticket in the C5 we just got rid of. It was his first ever. I told him I have one coming and I intend to make it good.
Can't wait to take her to work Tuesday morning. I 30 miles of freeway driving ought to be fun.

Don't light me up by when I had my 01 convertible I would regularly run down 75 in Atlanta aroung 100, Atlanta should be known for it's speedways when there isn't traffic.

Driving down 85 yesterday where the speed limit is 70. I was driving upto 120 at times and it seemed like people were barely going slower than me. When i cruised around 90-100 people were going the same speed as me...

The good news is traffic school is an option, and we have the ticket clinics here in Fl, the lawyers take care of tix for you. For a lot more $$$$.

If I drove out to Atlanta I know I'd get nailed at least twice on the I-95!

This thing is a cop magnet, was trailed twice today, its Precision Red, think that might have something to do with it?

Might want to look into a K40 2000, with LED indicators on the steering column. Had mine installed after delivery in Bowling Green. Kept me out of trouble over the next 3000 miles back to the West coast.

90-100!!!

You can go pretty fast on Interstates around Boston .... few cops...but drivers here really are nuts and can do wacky things at a moment's notice. I'd say 75's pretty average during non-rush hours.

He got that pissed for 15 over? Was it on I-95? That is a race track most times too. I never see them radaring from luaderdale to SOBEE.

all Corvettes are "Cop Magnets"....they have thousands and thousands of other speeders to pick out of the crowd and every chance they get to bust a Vette owner/speeder over another speeder they do it...its just a fact.... (Disclaimer:...LEOS will disagree... )

No reason for the cop to act like a jerk, though.
