You're right! In fact, I'm going to sell my Precision Red for $30K with a little over 2,000 miles on it for just that reason! I get nothing but negative comments, and with the C6 sales practically LIFELESS as well, I'm sure it'll be tough to get $30K for this car..........
"...Of course, maybe it's time to get your eyes checked."
It's a product a too much inbreeding.
I also think this will be the last time I "respond" to negativity that seems to be prevelant in this forum.
I mean, why give these ..."people" the satisfaction? They must have no life of their own...or what life they do have must be so miserable that they have to pass it on to the rest of us.
Ok guys, Don't get me wrong. I love the new C6. I'm just stating my
" Personal " opinion of the color itself. This is an open forum, isn't it ? Obviously General Motors has similar thoughts about the color or they wouldn't have stopped production. I can't wait to see a
" Victory Red " in person.
The dealer I visited told me that Precision Red has been discountinued -- is this true? If so, why? And why stopped during the middle of the production year?
FWIW, I actually LIKED the Precision Red color. It reminds me of my 1988 Dark Red which was away from the Bright Red color to give it distinctiveness.

Corvette Poor, everyone knows it's an open forum. And because it is, you shouldn't be surprised you are getting negative responses as well as positive. As long as they don't personally attack you, they're gonna say how they don't like what you had to say. It works both ways.

The opinion we hear expressed most often is that it wasn't a bright enough red. Torch Red was too "flat" on the C6, according to some GM folks. Victory Red is closer to Torch Red than Precision Red is.
