I had that problem at two different gas stations that were not at my usual Amoco BP station. I think the problem is with the type of nozzle at some stations. I had to keep backing the nozzle out, 1/4 of an inch at a time until it stopped clicking off.
I believe that the problem is that the full length of the nozzle has not been completely inserted in the pure perfection of the C6 to make sure that it is completely and fully satisfied and filled to the brink. hahaha sick huh.

Mine has done it from the beginning and it is a pain in the butt. I have found that rotating the nozzle to the left seems to help but not always. It seems that there is too sharp of an angle in the filler neck.
Mine doesnt do topping either. When it clicks off, its full. It is odd that he didnt have this before but does now. Most cars either do it or dont depending on their venting. Or in some cases might do it depending on the speed/volume of fuel delivery. Of course everyone knows this, Im just putting the obvious out there...clogged vent or something along those lines? My only other idea is if you fuel up at the same spot everytime, have they increased their flow?
The C6 has two small 'saddle' tanks each being about 9 gal in size...small tanks need to be filled slower otherwise the fuel nozzle will click off...that is what you are experiencing...

Not mine, from close to empty it does this. The moment you pull the handle on the pump it clicks off. Think of it just like topping off. If I turn the nozzle, sometimes it will fill perfectly and click off when full and not need topping off. That is dependant on the station. Also I can hear the gas going in when it is going to click off, it sound like it is aerating.
Mine did it since day one when I left the dealership (I requested to go get the fuel myself) and when the tank is less than or around a 1/4 I have to pump the fuel even slower, its only been a C6 issue with me.
Glad someone brought it up, I've been meaning to....
I don't have my C6 yet, but this is the same as my Grandma's F-150. Just back the nozzle out a little. I think the filler neck is at a steep angle and it splashes back onto the nozzle causing it to click off. This was the fix for the truck, I'm sure it is the same for the C6

I also have a brand new Yukon XL. It has done this since day 1. It drives me nuts because you have to abgle the hose and hold it the entire time (even this does not always work). It has to be caused by some sort of splashback. I think if someone digs further, they will find the cause - and it certainly is not exclusive to the C6
I haven't had the problem with the pump cutting off before the tank is full, but have discovered that you don't want to "top off". When the pump clicks off mine has been full, twice I've played the "top off" game and both times ended up with an overflow. On my daily beater I can put another 50-75 cents in normally. Not the C6!
its not specific to any car, it mostly has to do with fume build up and it gives off the impression that the car is full (something to do with pressure). Letting oxygen/air in while pumping gas or prior is usually a way to get rid of that problem. Not unordinary happens to everyone on all cars. Try to put the nozzle only half way in. Could solve the problem.
Happens alot if you drive your car hard, or for long distances at a time on one tank of gas.
PS> I was driving a Denali for 2 weeks and it does it everytime i get gas.
My C5 did this occasionally, depending on the particular pumps. So did my Integra before it. I assume C6 will do the same. High-speed pumps exacerbate the problem. No big deal, though -- 15 gallons doesn't take long.
Is there a law that says you can't leave the pump unattended? Stickers to this effect have been plastered on all the pumps around here for a while now.
