I mean if you were to get the one without the option of adding a plate then you wouldn't be able at all to add a plate so would it be better to get the one with the OPTION to add the plate? I don't know what the differences of appearances are between the two designs but there must be a way so that you can take the plate on and off at will depending on the situation.

I did some counting before I got my car. There were 20 vettes without, and 9 with, so I decided to take my chances.

For what it's worth... I saw a GT3 Porsche from British Columbia that has a sticker for a front plate. The owner told me he scanned his plate on a computer and made his own sticker. I might try the scan / sticker idea. Maybe I could make a few dozen stickers so I could periodically remove to front plate to avoid damage to the paint?
