2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Brenda Priddy and Co.

500-horse Corvette to tour auto shows next spring

Chevrolet will give Corvette aficionados a preview of the all-new 2006 Z06 model on the auto show circuit this coming spring.
The big news lurks under the hood, where an all-new LS7 7.0-liter V-8 (the displacement works out to 427 cubic inches) reportedly churns out 500 horsepower.
The ultimate 'Vette also will be fitted with wider tires and larger Brembo brakes.
Body modifications include a high-rise hood, deep side skirts and cooling ducts ahead of the rear wheels.

I'm looking forward to that. Only way it could be better was if Scissors were to drive

Oh look I found a post from January...almost 1yr ago...it says the same thing.
I was talking with i guy from GM Powertrain today. I have know him for years and he knows i am into Corvettes. While its not really breaking news, he told me the Z06 will have a 7.0 litre engine and the number being mentioned is 500 hp.

All you have to do is read the threads in the C6 ZO6 section...any of them.
