I like the wheel it comes with. I also like it better than the new Z06 wheel.

The standard wheel seems great to me.
There's been ALOT of discussion on this subject, both pro and con.
Just saw the new Z06 wheel and that does look great!
Assuming Chevy had an affordable price on swapping, I'd get that wheel installed.

This just made me grin. We are so paranoid about letting others wash, change oil, etc.. on our babies, but we're the first to start riping things off and/or adding to it. I just got a little humored.

Why? There are many nice wraps out there if you want a custom look.

Default I'm not thrilled with the stock wheel either.

I've gotta agree with my fellow Eagles fan in Conshy. I'd swap wheels if available. The wheel was one of the things I'd thought would be improved with the stretch of the C6 launch timeline. Instead we got the Bu wheel.

Unless there was a way to retrofit stereo controls, no. The stock wheel feels good. I don't really see the wheel when I'm driving, so the doughboy look ain't so bad.

Does'nt the Dough Boy protect us when we're driving? "Pilsbury Dough Boy Patron Saint of the C6 Corvette". I wouldn't want to be without him.

IMHO the current steering wheel looks cheap...out of a malibu. The General , trying to upscale the interior made a glaring error and hopefully rectify the mistake in 06

The steering wheel is very comfortable and just the right diameter and thickness for me. I've seen better looking steering wheels, but not enough better that I'd want to swap it out.

I've looked at several C5's that appear to have the same steering wheel as the C6. I hate to admit such naivete on the steering wheel subject but I never understood why all the fuss and that it was described as a POS?

Buy the Z06 when it comes out and you'll get a Cadillac STS V wheel instead.

The one in the coupe and vert is much nicer than the one that's going in the Z06.

No thanks! I agree with the posters above. I like the standard wheel much better than the Z06 steering wheel. For me, it isn't about looks but about function. The Z06 wheel blocks parts of the steering wheel where I normally grip it. Seems like the positioning of the posts couldn't be worse.

No. The C6 wheel is quite comfortable and way better than the one on my C5.

I agree. My comment about the STS-V steering wheel was negative, not in favor of. I personally like the C6 wheel, I trade my hand positions both above and below the horizontal supports. I find both positions very comfortable depending on the type of driving I'm doing.

With all the things you can mod on your c6
Why F with the Steering wheel
Espically with what the airbag module costs
I bet for the new zo6 whell it will run 600 to 1100 $$$
Wouldent you monney be well spent somewhere else!
