Is handling more important, or having Nav?
For me it was simple. Handling. I don't need Nav, 'cause I don't go anywhere!
The F55 handling will be more than adequate, if you go Nav.
I went with the Z51 for the handling and feel, but also left off the NAV. Same reason....I don't go anywhere!
All my driving is in areas I know or can find my way around easily with a map and compass. I don't need no stinkin' NAV!
It should be obvious by now that there is no right answer. There's no such thing as a "gotta have it" option since every buyer has different needs and priorities. If you travel lots and want the convenience of NAV, buy it. If you're comfortable with a map and a compass, don't. If you want the security of OnStar, buy it. If you think you can live without it and carry a cell phone, don't. If you'd rather play your own CDs in the car, why buy the XM satellite option? Want the smoothest ride possible and don't need cutting edge handling? Go with the base suspension or F55 and enjoy the ride. Want your Vette to handle as good as the factory can make it? Order the Z51.
Buy what you want and what you think will personalize the car for your life style. It's your money.
I’d vote F55. In contrast to other adjustable suspensions I’ve driven, including some on earlier Vettes, this one actually makes a difference that’s obvious to the seat of your pants. On “sport” setting, it’s very firm. You feel each seam in the road, just like my old C5. But on “tour” setting, the road seams are nearly gone, more like, say, a Caddy STS. And even on “tour”, it still handles and corners very well. Sure, Z51 will do a smidgen better on the track, and has the bragging rights of drilled brake rotors. But it’s of more practical importance to me that my wife will ride in my C6 on “tour” setting without complaint. That was most decidedly not true of my C5, nor would it be true of a Z51 C6.

I have an automatic with Z51 and Navigation and I wouldn't take a car without both. If you really want a car now and only have the two choices mentioned, it will have to be your call. Just think about it carefully. It's a lot of money to spend and not get exactly what you want.
Unfortunately, both cars come the the XM radio and that ugly wart on the top of the hatch.
That killed the XM for me, and I don't miss having to see that black thing on the back of my car.
Assuming this does not bother you - get the one with the Navigation. This option is great and you will be happy you have it after the purchase.
Once you learn all the features of the Nav. you'll be glad you went with it.
Hope you move quickly, latest constraints list Nav. as in very short supply - so you may not have this car around if you let another buyer snap it up.

The XM antenna is ok with me. My inbound vert will have the painted one on the trunk lid.
Remember the third brake light on the C4, at first everyone was
I think the XM on the Vett just gives it a modern look...most new loaded cars have it!
Also on the vert it looks more like a nipple than a wart
