Okay, here's the latest from my dealer. As some of you may know, I placed my order for a vert in early Dec. Well, to make a long story shorter...have been waiting for the dealer just to be able to submit my order to the General. Got a call last night from my dealer...some good news hopefully for a lot of us. Sounds like within the next 2-4 weeks, things are going to open up at BG...production should increase to about 300 per month, approx 10 per day (9 manual/1 power). The dealer is telling me they should have their backlog of vert orders (at least those placed Dec/Jan time frame) placed by mid Feb, and hopefully, start seeing some serious movement in production levels (manual tops anyway) at BG. Of course, I realize there is always production issues to contend with, but at least it sounds a bit more optimistic then what we have been hearing of recent! Hey, at this point, I'd just like to have a frick'n status event code!!!!!
From: Muncie, Indiana ...... Can I buy an amplifier on time ... I ani't got no money now but I'll pay you before I die
If you look around here you will see that some orders that were pushed back into March have now been pulled forward into February. You will also see the they accepting 320 new vert orders this week. 200 manual tops and 120 power tops.
yeah, they release about 200 this past week, but Kerbeck's didn't receive any of those. I order 1SB package...but again, any movement at this point is good. BG is going to have to step it up soon or be faced with a lot of folks like myself electing to wait for an '06 if it starts to slip into late summer. The next few weeks should prove interesting. Hey Junkie, if you read this, I sent you a pm...if you get a chance, please respond...thanks.
This is all great news if you think "black is beautiful". I don't.
When the hell are they going to start making the beige? Let's see 21st century and we can only product black YA THINK! When I was there the 1st week of December they were making (5) verts (BLACK) a day, half power. That was from a linesmen and myself actually seeing them, but I was only there one day!
