OK thats your order number...basically your car's blueprint... As time goes on week to week call your dealer and ask them for your built status and then when they give you that number (4 digit number) look it up here: -if you just placed your order you should be at 1100-

2001-Order generated to dealer
2005-Order replaced with GM Prospec order
2050-Order changed
2500-Order sent to production, preferenced
3000-Order accepted by production control
3100-Order available to sequence (now the tpw becomes more stable)
3300-Order selected for production by assembly plant
3400-Order broadcasted for production
3800-Vehicle produced
4150-Vehicled invoiced to dealer
4200-Vehicle shipped
5000-Vehicle delivered to dealer
6000-Vehicle delivered to customer
There's no code or meaning to the letters in the order number. They're just assigned sequentially. However, your dealer (or another dealer) must know the order number to be able to look up the status event code of your order.
