Will this thing have a pressurized cabin?

I was going to ask about the passenger seat but someone beat me to it.
Will there be grab bars with that?

Looks great Mike.

Jim,

I had to double check I was still on the forum here. Your post made me believe I was reading a racing novel with an intro to the first chapter.

Dan,

It wont have a pressurized cabin, but it will have pressurized passengers!

Not to mention Navigation, Side Windows, A/C, Heat, Electric Seats w/lumbar, Sun Visors, Tire Pressure monitors, luggage space, garage door remote, glove box . . . . shall I go on?

I sure hope the car arrives on Saturday. It's one of reasons I'm heading to the track on Saturday.

Awesome!

This has been addressed many times but I haven't been able to answer it. I didn't want to throw out a low number and be wrong, and I didn't want to throw out a high number just for the sake of it.

If all goes well today, the car should be corner-balanced by early evening. There are still many places where weight could be saved and I may address those in the winter. For now safety has been priority one.

I will post the scales hopefully very soon.

Yes,

The splitter hasn't been screwed on yet as we are finalizing cooling options.

I'm sure all of us on the forum will be taking the virtual ride along with you in the car. I bet driving this beast for the first time will be a similar feeling to a racer's first race start. Can't wait to see and hear the car on track. I hope to witness it in person one day.

How ever big or small, I love watching people achieve their dreams. And yours is a very big one.

At this point, I think it wise of some of the forum vendors begin offering drool buckets... I know I can't stop salivating... which makes my job a real challenge due to people thinking I'm drooling over something other than your Vette. Thanks Mike... no really.... thanks...

Hmmm, I'm going to the airport anyway on Saturday, maybe a quick flight to Chicago and . . .

But how do I explain to the girlfriend that it's actually on the way to Hawaii (our original destination)?

I'll be with you in spirit, Short-Shrift . . .

ps: I'm sure you Autobahn dudes have wireless high speed internet access trackside - a little effort and we can have a real-time webcast . . . Come on now . . . the launch seen round the world . . .

Don't go kerb-hopping with that CF splitter!

It will be fascinating to see what lap times this will be able to post compared to a C6.R...

Any friends at Corvette Racing know about this l'il project car?
