Default Added and reduced weight

I see that the ZR1 weighs 200lbs more than the Z06, but I was wondering how much weight was lost due to the brakes and extra carbon fiber bits.

I believe this number for the base vs. Z06 was like 130lbs extra on the Z06 so like about 250lb total in reduction.

I'm trying to get an idea what a corvette with the lightest possible combination of parts would weigh. Aluminum frame, all the CF parts, CC brakes, regular LS3 (no dry-sump). Maybe 2900lbs? It sounds like this is the corvettes future due to mileage concerns.

On the F430, CC brakes save 7 pounds of unsprung weight per wheel.
