Car looks great.. I like the carbon fiber additions.

The wheels are hideous.

Not liking the spoiler. Wonder how much df it makes all the same?

Tires look the business...

Liking the CF roof section, looks sharp. Wonder if its actually any lighter...

Very muscular looking power bulge.

Bugger me those rotors are big...

You know something occurs to me... The ZR1 is heavier than the Z06, but we know nothing about where that weight has moved... If the top "half" of the car is actually lighter than the Z06, and the bulk of the additional weight is on the axle plane (i.e., suspension, bottom half of the motor)...

In other words, what if the center of gravity is a good bit lower?
Most of the weight should be in the front because of the SC added, but keep in mind they beefed up all the major drivetrain components to withstand the new power, so I would guess a nearly even distribution of the new weight from front to back. estimates have weight distribution a little more front-heavy. But the "magnashocks" should help counteract this a little.

Nothing really worth noting, but I will PM you a link to another pic (nothing special, really).

Don't get me wrong. I love my C6 and the Z06 but this car is just so over-the-top IMHO from the cheesy hood window to the meaningless engine cover to the boring wheels.
I respect your opinion, but in-person, to me, the look was basically just a modified Z06. You really dont notice the "cheesy" stuff unless you look for it specifically.

The car has a really nice, mean stance all the way around. I like it. From most angles, when seeing one on the street, you will never notice the hood window. The only thing that will easily give it away are the new vents on the fenders. (and of course the badges).

I tried to get on the raised platform to get more detailed pics, but the GM lady said "no way." I would have liked to do a complete "photo survey," but I arrived on the last day of the show, with about 12-15 minutes until they booted everyone out.

It's funny, just as I was taking the last pictures of the exposed ZR1 frame display (away from the car itself), the convention room speakers were saying "Please wait until we give you the OK to start your vehicles and begin moving them off the floor."

I thought awhile about going "Ninja Spy Photographer" to get some behind-the-scenes goodies, but as I was walking away from the ZR1 display, someone in a Lexus SUV had already started the thing and nearly ran me over while backing it off the display area.

Guess it was time to go....I can't tell you how many big-rig transporters were outside, and jockeying their way in to get the goodies loaded and get the heck out of Dodge.

Here are my favorite two pics, courtesy of myself and captain crunch (thanks captain)!

I really like the Chevy license plate.

last image was edited to bring out the body lines a bit better.

Boy, I tell ya, that blue color, with black accents really seems to work.

Great pics. You can even see that the spokes chick is wearing a thong in the first picture.

Hey, Rick! Do "You's Guys" think you will be carrying the new Camaro? If so, throw me a bone. Grazie.

Same car I saw in Pittsburgh. I dare someone to find one spec of orange peel in that fantastic paint job. As others have stated, they may not come from the factory this nice.

Man I love that splitter and side skirting... Will the splitter fit up to the front of a Z06? Is the front clip the same width?
