Default Which AFTERMARKET fuel rails fit the LSXr 102 intake with STOCK injectors?

I've searched and read almost every post on here in regards to LSXR intakes/injectors/fuel rails. I'm getting one painted with my valve covers of the Holidays and I want to make sure I have everything I need here to get the car running again upon my return.

I'm looking for an aftermarket fuel rail that fits the Fast 102 LSXR intake for the LS7 AND uses the stock LS7 shorty injector.

I know one member used the Nasty perf. LS3 rail and "modified" the mounting brackets.

another vendor said you could just put the mounting tabs of the FAST LS7 rails on a metal brake to shorten them to run the LS7 injectors etc..etc...

Any REAL WORLD experience out there? Please no speculation, just looking for answers w/o having to buy three sets fo rails hopeing to make one work.

Thanks!

Default Update:

Fast says..yes this set-up will work

vendor "H" says...no! you have to run a spacer too, he thinks.

vendor "I" says LS3 option with spacer only OR larger injectors.

AAARRRRGGGGHHHH! I feel like Charlie Brown at this point.

The problem with the intake is that it is not as stream line or flat on top like the ls7. Soooo, you need to make a junction between the lower injector and the now taller fuel rail. So, either spacers or injectors. I personally would use the spacers until I had to switch over to a larger one.

Correct. You can get away with using a spacer we just never do. The cars we put the LSXR intakes on always need injectors so we just do them at the same time.

You actually need an LS2 fuel rail and it will work.

I'm thinking about it, just have to make sure Rod can HP tune the 60's.

He should be able to assuming he has the flow data and latency tables, and a little basic math.

Default They fit!!!

Like a glove.

set-up.

1) fast 102mm LSXR LS7 intake
2) stock GM LS7 injectors
3) Fast 102mm LS7 fuel rail kit FOR the 102mm LSXR LS7 intake

They even machined out clearance areas under rails that allow you to hide the coil harness plug UNDER the rails. With a -6AN vent lines coming out of my Katech coil relocation equiped valve covers, I thought things would be tight.

The complete opposite. I have MORE room now.

Does anyone have a suggested fuel line hook-up kit for the billet Fast fuel rails? Or a shopping list of fittings needed to make this up with A/N fittings and braided fuel line? What adapter to adapt too quick connects OEM fuel line? What vendor?

I don't have the complete list, but from memory ( and my empty fast part box's)

1) fast fuel line adaptor P/N 54028
2) 180 degree -6an
2.5) -6an hose of your choice
3) -6an straight end
4) -6an to -8an 90 degree SWIVEL adaptor
5) fast LS7 fuel rail system (P/N 146027-kit)
6) -6an 60 degree ends (two to connect each rail)
7) -8an plug to cap it all off.

That pretty much covers it other than the line that matchs the ends you choose.

Hope that helps!!

BGBOOST1: thanks a bunch. a ton of bending over went into that project!
