Z06-specific radar hardwiring question
Have done a lot of searching through old posts because I was sure this would be answered, but it looks like most everyone is just using Invisicord, something I don't want to do, for a few reasons I won't get into...
I've wired V1's in the past on both a C5 Z06 and a C6 coupe by running the wire up inside the headliner, over to the passenger A-pillar, then down to the fusebox (seat heater fuse in the C6 coupe). In the C6 Z06, it seems the headliner is extremely tight up against the window, there's really no room at all to push a cord in. Has anyone wired a C6 Z06 this way, and what did you have to do? Do I need to remove the A-pillar trim and the visors to get enough room between the headliner and window to get the cord in?

It is somewhat different from the C6 coupe, the coupe has a hard plastic "headliner" with plenty of gap between it and the window to push a cord up into. But the Z06 has a fabric headliner that is shoved up tight against the window.

Yeah, I've removed headliners entirely before (in the C5), so it shouldn't be a problem. Thought I might be missing something, but sounds like that's the way to go and that it should work.
