even though i would like to say i dont care what people think when they see me in my car i am afraid they would be laughing at me and saying somthing like "what a fool with too much money" or "another ricer"
if i got attention in that car i am pretty sure it would be the wrong kind.

I thought the "rice" percentage would be overwhelming. It stands at 72% as of this posting.
Even with the "undecided", it would be safe to say 1 in 4 like the look of the car. The 'Fast and the Furious' style is making its way over to the domestics, unfortunately. Especially in the younger (18-30) crowd. I bet that Z06 would appeal to a 30 or younger buyer. Most of us "old guys" would find the car gaudy, but the 30 and under crowd, it would appeal more to them.
I would not put it past GM to incorporate some of that new style into the C7.

For me it's simple, if the graphics and spoilers/wings etc can be backed up with performance than it's not RICE.
But for a street driven car it's a bit extreme for me.

I like it.
Delete the huge corvette emblems on both bumpers and cool in my book. Not too crazy about the black stripes but I can live with it.
Back in 2006, I wished GM included a wing on the Z06's like the ones found on the C6R's race cars; or at least a street version of one. This would have given the Z06 an additional uniqueness besides the big fender flares.
Other have done it: Lambo with the Murci SV and the Supperlegara Gallardo and also Porsche with some of their 911 models...those things have nice tasteful wings. Why can GM do the same? I mean, those GT1 and GT2 race C6R's wings look good even for the streets.
Thanks,
Carlos

My Grandma would like the wing. It can double as a buffet serving table for large family gatherings when she sets up the folding tables and chairs in the garage for everyone to sit down to.
