Guys I'm not sure if your trying to make fun of me, but i hope you gentlemen feel better about yourself......... OH and by the way there is such a thing as torque reversal and i would recommend knowing what your talking about before you open your pie hole. I would have much rather of gotten no replies to my thread then the crap you posted.
Just to make sure you understand where I'm coming from I'll give you just one of the documents I have.
I hope I did not offend anyone, but i was just returning the favor

Subject: Clunk Noise When Shifting More Noticeable At Low Speeds - keywords clutch manual throttle transmission #PIP3896 - (08/28/2007)
Models: 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V
1997-2007 Chevrolet Corvette Equipped with a Tremec 6-speed Manual Transmission
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
While driving in a steady slow speed parade type situation a clunk-clunk noise from the driveline may be heard when depressing and releasing the clutch pedal, between shifts or quickly depressing and releasing the throttle.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The noise is a normal torque reversal in the driveline and a combination of axle backlash, front and rear drive shaft rubber isolation flanges, drive shaft center support, and a dual mass flywheel all working together. This is a normal characteristic and not a condition of operation concern. No repairs should be attempted.
Also reference the latest version of TSB 03-07-29-004 for further manual transmission operating characteristics.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
Just to make sure you understand where I'm coming from I'll give you just one of the documents I have.

I agree with the assessment above that it is not a concern and no attemps to repair should be taken. I have not noticed this on my 2009
z06 but have noticed the noise described with other cars I have had be they automatic or manuals. This may occur more frequently in cars as they accumulate mileage. Its more commonly referred to a slop in the drive train.

It's been a c**p day at work, BUT this thread is keeping me in stitches this afternoon!
This guy never spent any time in a classroom of JHS students...If he did, he would have a way better sense of humor!
Ex- "shop teacher"
...and yes, "Parade type situation" is rolling through (add town of your choice) at 5mph in first checking out the scenery and looking for the local Starbucks....clunk, clunk and clunk.......

I typically have avoided these types of BBS's because of the same juvenile issues. So this would not be my first rodeo..... however thank you for reinsuring me that this forum is no different then the rest. I appreciate your double edge attempt to politely address my thread.
But you have forced me to inform you to – NEWBIE MY @$$.
Are we all not supposed to be sharing the common love for the corvette and life's stories with them. Instead this forum is being used as a BS hazing forum.
I'm a 40 year old professional not some snot nosed pimpled face 13 yo........

your car has 2 rubber donuts and and electronic systems that limits the amount of decreasing torque the engine can apply to the drivetrain. I wouldn't go around throwing it into 1st gear at 120mph, but normal deceleration and "clunking" will not hurt your car.
