Default Moton Club Sport Shock problem

Anyone out there have Moton Clubsport shocks? If so have you seen any issues like the pictures below:

I have tried calling Moton USA but so far no luck getting in contact with them. There isn't any installation issues that I can find to explain the wear on the shock body from the springs. I spoke with Jason @ Katech and he hasn't seen this either and gave me the number to Moton USA.

Tom, post this in the autocrossing/roadrace section. More people use the Motons there. Is the plunger rod bent such that it causes the body to move against the coil?

No its not bent, I finally got in touch with Moton. And we may have a fix, the spring is bowing when its compressed due to the geometry of how the shock is installed. The springs on the shocks are 2.25" ID and we plan on going to a 2.50" ID to give it more room.

Be careful, a 2.5" spring could get into the boot. I have seen a few C6's that keep tearing the rear boot with 2.5" springs.

Disregard what I said, those CO's aren't inverted; shouldn't be a problem.

Whoever installed your shocks/springs forgot to install the plate between the helper and main spring. Are you hearing clicking noises while you make turns as well?

PM me.
