^^^^This^^^^

And that 250lbs rider in the video is not one of those "good riders".

I have 794rwhp and am dead even with the newer R1's stock with a 150lbs rider to ~155mph. This is from a 50 roll on. I have Z51 gearing so 50mph is my kill zone in 2nd gear and I did not pull 1 inch on him till the top of 4th. This rider has a handfull of 9 sec time slips so I knew he could ride.

Hey Garrett, let him know I'll race him!!
Yeah it is kind of like the whole GTR vs Z06 at the track debate. Yes when the planets are aligned and the perfect tire combo/DA/Piloti (is driving) the Z06 can beat the GTR's current fastest time. But 3 out of 5 times that GTR will edge out the Z06 with aforementioned senario because there is no driver error to factor in.

FACT -- An 06 and up 1L bike is very hard to drive to its potential. 9 out of 10 times you run into a 1L bike on highway the rider will not be able to beat a Z06 with +650rwhp from 60-160mph.

FACT -- A 2008 R1 has ran a 9.1@148 STOCK (135lbs rider w/suit 1/8th tank) I've seen it.

Essentially what is a drag bike running 278 vs a car running 266... hardly apples to apples.

Here is the car:

Here is the bike:

2011 Kaw ZX10R runs 9.70's @ 149 all day stock.
Tune, strap, add 1 tooth rear and you get 9.30's @156 all day...on pump gas.

As if that car is even close to stock - the Ford GTs that run in that range are twin turbos making 1200 - 1400HP.

Im late to this thread but just noticed it now. Here is a vid of my 2003 R1 (lightest R1 ever made) vs a head/cam C6 Z06. My bike is a 2003, so its slow by modern bike standards, however, given the fact that it is piped/geared and I weigh 140 lbs, it is comparable to the average 200 lb rider on a newer litre bike from a slower roll.

Recognizing that the bike has an advantage, I started in 3rd gear from a 70 kph roll (normally would be in 1st or 2nd). I put multiple lengths of him. Later, we did it off the line, and as you can see, I botched the launch big time, but still managed to catch up

I havent lost to any car making less than 750ish rwhp under 160 mph.

I compared these two videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fVND3-cEiE) Skip to 4:10

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6EiNFiLhV0

It looks like my 600 stays with a stock C6 Z06 from 80-150. I think it would pull on me after that tho.

You will also have to keep in mind that bike speedos are notoriously optimistic (Even before changing sprockets, mine was off 7%, which I corrected via a speedohealer). Based on the races I have seen between my friend's stock C6 Z06 and 600's, I would put my money on the car if you were running up to 150mph.

The FGT that ran the 266 is 1900+ whp. No 1200-1400 car has broken 250 mph at the mile.

I know the answer, but if I tell you this thread will get locked. Let me just say that if the R1 is mildly modded it is significantly faster than a stock Z06 - even at higher speeds.

But if you start from a roll, by the time the Z06 gets to 190 the R1 has hit it's 186 limiter and the rider is almost done with his Big Mac.

I'm sorry to say it but if anyone here says they beat a liter bike or a hayabusa at the track or in mexico with less than 700whp to 160mph they beat the rider, not the bike or they are just outright lying.
So when you race and you win but the other vehicle is supposed to win are you supposed to say you won because the driver can't drive?

Robots don't drive. A win is a win. People race because they want to see if they can beat the other person. We don't need a calculation to prove who'd win. THAT'S BORING!!!!!!
